ScS Fits Out PTWM's Conservatory
ScS has been a long-time admirer of Part Time Working Mummy and the good she has done for men, women and children affected by domestic abuse, bullying and post-natal depression up and down the country. Alongside being a mother, Rachaele Hambleton runs Part Time Working Mummy (PTWM), and several charities to raise awareness for these very important issues.
When ScS heard Rachaele was moving into a new home, we jumped at the chance to be able to give her something back for all the hard work and commitment she’s put into these causes.
Carl Randle, Content Executive at ScS said: ‘We’ve been very aware of the great work Part Time Working Mummy has been doing for a number of years, and when we saw that she was moving into a new home, we offered to give her conservatory a complete transformation.
‘After working with our stylist, a costal theme was agreed, with Rachaele opting for a stylish, yet practical design with easy clean laminate flooring and our family friendly Westwood sofa bed, which proved a massive hit over the Christmas period. Overall, the project has been a huge success, and we’re extremely proud to work with someone who continues to do great work for such fantastic causes.’
To complete this coastal look, the team used natural elements and the Driftwood lamp table, coffee table and mirror, which all complemented each other perfectly helping to bring the outdoors indoors. The Westwood swivel chair also brought a wealth of colour to the room and the floral patterns carried on the natural theme perfectly. To finish off the room, a beautiful, super soft
Cascade duck egg blue rug added both luxury and comfort to the conservatory creating a fresh sanctuary for Rachaele to escape to.
Following the big reveal, Rachaele commented: “I’m so chuffed, I love it and the kids are going to love it too! I’ve wanted a seaside theme for ages – we live next to the beach and it felt right to bring that into the house. I really wasn’t sure how it was going to work but it’s perfect. It’s such a peaceful room I can’t wait to sit in here and do some writing. I’m so excited to use it!”
