Grey is an incredible starting colour for any home; you can use it as a base, and build around the colour. Grey furniture opens up a vast amount of colours that can be used in the room, some of which you couldn’t get away with having a different coloured sofa or carpet.
When thinking of grey living room ideas, you want to choose one ‘main’ colour, and work around this. This could be the grey sofa or the colour of your walls. You then want to accessorise using items that have a dash of your main colour in. We’re going to be showcasing how to style a customer favourite, the Spark.
Grey & Blue Living Room
Grey and blue is a classic combination. A darker shade of blue works perfectly on a light grey sofa, such as the Spark shown here. To incorporate something like this, try going for some pillows that match your main colour and add a variation of those to your sofa.
As shown in this photo, why not try adding another colour to the mix? Gold compliments a dark blue, as well as black. The blue contrasting with the grey gives the room a warm, modern feel! To match with the sofa, our Endurance Diamond Coffee Table would make a great addition to the living space.
Monochrome Living Room
The monochrome trend has really taken off in recent years and it’s super easy to incorporate this style into your home! You can do this by having black and white cushions accompanying the sofa, (styled on the Andreas left) as well as styling with other black or white pieces of furniture.
A monochrome home looks sleek and stylish, and will definitely be the envy of anyone who visits your home. To finish off the room, why not try adding a monochrome coffee table, such as our Milano Coffee Table?
Grey & Wood Living Room
Grey works with any style of wood. If you have a darker shade of wood, a light grey will give your home a more contemporary and modern feel. You can style this with darker colours, such as a black coffee table and darker cushions.
You could also incorporate a grey console table at the side of your room and add a plant and some photos, as shown on our San Pietro Console Table. If you want to go with a wooden console table, try to match the colour of your floor to keep it in theme.
